Cathodic Protection

Integrity of offshore metallic structures and pipelines can be seriously compromised by corrosion caused by sea water and by the chloride contained in the marine environment. Degradation mechanisms range from general corrosion to localized attacks affecting welds, up to corrosion-fatigue, with damages enhanced by mechanical solicitations caused by waves and marine currents. Such this corrosive is important in onshore pipelines when an electric potential is induced on the surface of the pipeline as a result of variations in the concentrations of salts in the soil and water surrounding the pipeline.

Our mission for oil and gas industry is to provide the best expertise in corrosion prevention and management, including Catholic Protection method assessment, design and supply. We are expert in all cathodic protection methods and offer our clients Sacrificial Anode and Impressed Current protection systems.
